Take Back The Nights \u2013 Light The Future was initiated as a movement to support the arts & entertainment industry, in light of social distancing measures imposed by the pandemic.\u00a0\u00a0The VR music festival takes place as a simulation game, where people navigate avatars as they would in a physical event, and visit different stages and interactive stations to experience live streamed performances and brand activities.\u00a0\u00a0As a creative agency, Rawspark was tasked with creating the 3D virtual environment and producing the live performance videos.\u00a0\u00a0Rawspark was also engaged as the core advertising agency, undertaking brand design, promotions, video, design, visual communications, PR and brand partnership duties.\u00a0<\/p>

No story is complete without characters. In TAKE BACK THE NIGHTS, festival goers assume the identity of four different avatars from a fictional alien species called PATHFINDERS. The name of these species was conceptualised with the notion that every festival-goer journeys their path towards the BEAKON. The design of each PATHFINDER avatar was unique, highlighting diversity.\u00a0 KYZA, a hooded PATHFINDER, also serves as the festival’s unofficial mascots, having made appearances in the marketing collateral and trailers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The TAKE BACK THE NIGHTS insignia was drew design inspiration from a magnetic compass and the silhouette of a lighthouse. The lighthouse symbolizes its function as a beacon of hope, guiding lost ships to shore and warning sailors of impending low lying rocks, while the slanted compass describes that no matter the climate, a compass can guide you home because it always points towards true north.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
