At the start of this campaign, we were presented with the problem statement: to change the perception of People with Intellectual Disabilities, and the common belief that they are limited in their capacity to contribute to society.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Our solution was to challenge that narrative.\u00a0 We created a tagline that helped to\u00a0elevate and align People With Intellectual Disabilities (PWID) and neurotypicals on the same playing field, to convey a sense of collective empowerment and unity.\u00a0 With that message, we created a story in film, profiling three talented PWIDs, a competitive dancer, an athlete and a professional musician, with the aim of showcasing their valuable skills and talents, sometimes not found in neurotypicals, and\u00a0 highlighted their unique contributions to Singapore on the global stage.

We also created a music video to summarise the entire campaign to rally collective empowerment and unity among our communities and stakeholders.\u00a0 The result?\u00a0 Our campaign resonated deeply, touching hearts and minds across Singapore. The campaign garnered over 129K eyeballs, 386K impressions over digital platforms and social media, and this garnered an increase in additional of 5 new stakeholder participation.\u00a0 The ripple effects of “Together, We Can” continue to inspire new conversations and actions, paving the way for a more inclusive and empathetic society.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We crafted this narrative to elevate and align People With Intellectual Disabilities (PWID) and neurotypicals on the same playing field, highlighting the unique contributions of PWIDs. Our aim is to showcase that they have valuable skills and talents, sometimes not found in neurotypicals, which not only complement but also enhance the greater community. By doing so, we challenge and change the outdated belief and perception that PWIDs lack capability, asserting their vital role in enriching our society and economy, convey collective empowerment and unity, and rally both PWIDs and Neutotypicals to unite, work together and contribute to a positive society.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
